WAITING FOR TONIGHT
2 channel video installation – 8 min loop - 2023
Hot evening air, sticky from the dust of construction sites all around, glows in gold and blue. Sweat soaked and half-asleep, the workers look at a waterfall, an animated casino advertisement, one of the many screens in the growing skyline.
Two vertical projections on translucent plexiglass, stereo sound.
Made for “The Other side of Water” exhibition at Bethanien Berlin curated by Uroš Pajović and Roshanak Amini. Created during the residency at SaSa Art Projects Phnom Penh.
